Estimate Process (bulk)

Prices a batch reprocess without queuing or charging anything. Takes the same request body as Process (bulk), so the estimate is computed from exactly the keys the run would use.

This API is available for users with the ADMIN or MANAGER role. Users with other roles get 403.

What is priced

  • Video (plans billed in credits): one run per video asset, covering the requested transcodes, STORYBOARD and the clip preview, rounded up to a whole credit per asset. video_credits is the sum. This is the part Process (bulk) enforces up front.
  • Image AI addons: IMAGE_ANALYSIS and FACE_RECOGNITION at their per-image rate. These are shown in image_addon_credits but are charged as each one runs, so they do not affect sufficient.
  • Image conversions, ON_DEMAND_IMAGE and PRINT_EXPORT cost nothing to reprocess.
  • On plans billed in transcode minutes, billing is minutes, no credits are quoted and balance is null. video_source_seconds gives the source duration the transcodes will run over.

Ids that do not exist or are not accessible are listed in skipped instead of failing the request. Duplicates are counted once.
